MAXGARD® 1800
Lycus Ltd. provided MAXGARD® 1800 is formulated to meet a specific K-Value for our customers. It is an effective light stabilizer for protecting cosmetics from the damaging UV radiation which is a component of natural sunlight. In cosmetics/perfumes, the stability is improved. It stabilizes colors in various applications. It has a very broad absorption band which extends into the UV-B range. It is soluble at 5% in water thus finding application in surfactant-based cosmetics to protect product color when packed in clear containers and in clear gel products to protect the polymer that gives the gel its structure. If there is a specific K-Value that would be of interest, please let us know.
